I read about this in an article in the Los Angeles Times. It very well interested me because of my relation to the city of Westchester which is the city where LAX is located. It also interested me a lot because of the long amount of time that it took prosecutors to prosecute this killer. It happened nearly 5 years ago and the killer wasn’t convicted until today. The killer is named William Sadowski of age 51. The victim was Scott (last name not mentioned) who had served the LAX Police for 4 years. The killing happened when William (the killer) carjacked Scott’s marked patrol car and dragged him for a quarter mile until hitting a fire hydrant that instantly killed Scott. Prosecutors believe that William was plotting on entering the LAX airfield in the patrol car and driving it into an airplane to cause more damage. LAX police department can now put this ordeal behind them now that the killer was sentenced to life in jail without the possibility of parole.
