So this guy in Georgia happened to buy a car with $200,000 counterfeit dollars hidden in a secret compartment. He had bought the car from a towing company. The car is said to have been sitting in a car lot for over 3 years. Officers said that he came across the money while he was fixing a gas leak. He accidently came across the secret compartment behind the back seat and after further inspection, he found the cash. The car had been towed away from the prior owner by Fulton County police in 2006. The U.S Secret Service has been called in to help with the investigation. I believe this is real common for cars that have been towed away by cops. A month ago a friend of a friend was arrested for a DUI by Fullerton County Police. The police “thoroughly” inspected the car and found a small amount of Marijuana in a small canister. The young man was arrested and his car got towed to the impound. The next morning a couple of his buddies picked up his car from the impound and found a larger amount of marijuana, than what the cops found, under the passenger’s seat. They also found laying next to it a pipe. This isn’t very professional because what if it would have been a GUN, they would have lost the chance to remove a dangerous firearm from the streets.
